Backend Team Lead (Cashbox)

We are seeking a Team Lead for the Cashbox team who will work on developing payment services for the entire group of companies.

We are working on reducing fraud and cutting expenses on international and foreign currency transactions, connecting and developing new payment methods, and optimizing acquiring. The entire ETG staff uses the product – in 220 countries throughout the world.

The team currently consists of 11 people: 1 PO + 3 PM + 1 Frontend Developer + 5 Backend Developers + 2 QA

Job Responsibilities

developing internal payment services;
developing the internal anti-fraud service;
managing the development team from evaluating the tasks to people management;
close coordination with other product teams;
involvement in creating the company’s in-house payment service.

Key Qualifications

at least 5 years of total development experience, including at least 3 years with Python (Django);
at least 3 years of team management experience;
experience with PostgreSQL: design of database schemas, ability to write and optimize raw requests;
experience with using key-value databases as caches, experience with queues, Docker;
English level of B2+.
