We are looking for a confident and experienced Engineering Manager who is interested in building relationships between development teams, architects, products and projects teams, business and CTO. 

Job Responsibilities

People-management:

  • planning and participating in recruitment processes for your teams;
  • helping in onboarding newbies;
  • mentoring, building a career path and helping your reports to develop new skills and increase their results;
  • conducting regular 1-to-1 meetings;
  • assessment of team workload;
  • creating the structure of teams.

Technologies:

  • unification of the used stack and development tools together with architects;
  • service development planning based on business plans;
  • achieving a balance between product and technical tasks.

Processes:

  • building transparent communication between teams;
  • planning and budget management;
  • maintaining and improving team performance metrics;
  • development of culture and automation of technical documentation processes;
  • building a rapid feedback between product and technology teams.

Key Qualifications

  • experience in leadership position from 4 years;
  • experience in managing teams of at least 5 people;
  • work experience in the position of Team Lead, Engineering Manager or CTO;
  • experience in developing backend services in Python (Django)/Golang for at least 5 years or developing frontend services on Node.js, React from 5 years;
  • high level of communication skills;
  • ability to negotiate and find compromises;
  • good organization skills: keeping notes, calendars and budget
