We are looking for a Senior Golang developer to join the Air product team.
The Air team is developing the airline booking service, being fully responsible for this area of the company. Everyone in the team influences the final result, discussing the further development of the product and the implementation of each project.
Job Responsibilities
development of the service core;
integration of international reservation systems and consolidators;
improving the user experience of b2b clients by automating the sale of air tickets;
improving the logging process;
adding microservice performance metrics.
Examples of upcoming tasks:
development of a tool that allows to offer the best tariffs for different users;
creation of travel policies for corporate clients;
creation of selection functionality for travel agencies.
Key Qualifications
experience in developing web services in Golang and Python (mainly Golang) from 5 years;
Confident knowledge of PostgreSQL, ability to write raw SQL queries;
understanding of git flow and experience in its use;
profiling code and services;
the ability to package your service in Docker.
Desirable:
knowledge of Kafka or Nats;
experience working with NoSQL databases (Aerospike);
metrics (Statsd, InfluxDB, Grafana);
understanding the importance of error handling (Sentry);
familiarity with GDS or IATA NDC (Sirena, Amadeus, Saber, S7 NDC, etc.).
