Python Developer (Digital Analytics)

We are looking for a Python Developer to the Digital Analytics Team of the Analytics Development department who will work mainly with Batch ETL и SQL part of the data warehouse we built based on Vertica.

Job Responsibilities

  • Developing the ETL pipeline for processing, normalizing, and aggregation of raw data about users’ behavior on our websites and mobile apps;
  • Optimizing the current architecture of the data storage based on Vertice and its constant support/expanding for growing workload and tasks;
  • Building and developing of business dashboards for end clients;
  • Building the system for monitoring the data quality and the Pipeline work;
  • Creating ETL jobs for integration with partners, both external and internal (via HTTP API and File Storage).

Key Qualifications

  • Experience of developing ETL jobs completely or partially by Python and of working with ETL frameworks and tools; 
  • Experience of developing complex multistep DAGs on Airflow with monitoring, retry and backfill, and the reprocess logic;
  • Experience of work with SQL of any modern syntax (e.g., Postgres, Vertica, Presto, BigQuery); 
  • Experience of writing complex optimized SQL requests that are easily developed, scaled, and maintained; 
  • Experience of work with Git.
Preferable skills 
  • Experience of work with Vertica
