• Year-end reporting:

  • produce the consolidated financial statements under IFRS;
  • manage the relationships with the group’s external auditor (international Big 4), ensure a seamless audit process, timing and delivery of relevant Board papers;
  • lead local statutory audits (EMEA & CIS);
  • minimise differences between management accounts and financial statements;
  • lead tax reporting at holding level closely liaising with related Divisions and advisors.

• Monthly and quarterly reporting:

  • produce monthly consolidated management accounts, analysis (liaising with FP&A and Data Control teams to enhance improvements);
  • produce monthly consolidated financial statements under IFRS;
  • control of statutory accounts production;
  • conduct quarterly internal audits, regular control of PL & BS accounts reconciliation;
  • control of local tax reporting closely liaising with related Divisions and advisors.

• Other financial reporting deliverables:

  • accounting technical papers relating to new entities, products, business processes, complex transactions;
  • transfer pricing accounting closely liaising with Tax Division;
  • treasury accounting, in particular relating to FX analysis.
• Accounting policy: enhance procedural documentation, ensure its adoption across the group, lead response to emerging financial reporting issues, regulations, relevant changes to IFRS;

• Other areas: 

  • manage and develop the team (2 FTE), sync the targets with company objectives;
  • improve reporting and related accounting processes both via automation and control;
  • lead the automation of reporting system, contribute to development of the accounting system considering group needs and local compliance;
  • control the integration of the new entites with the reporting and accounting systems in (closely liaising with Localization team);
  • lead ad hoc projects and support business requests from a finance perspective.

• University degree in finance, preferably accounting, auditing, quantitative field;
• Proven experience with IFRS and consolidated financial reporting, project management;
• Accounting qualification CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent is preferred;
• Location in EU/UAE is preferred or plan to relocate to EU/UAE in a 1-1.5 year time;
• Advanced level of English (C1+);
• Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office (Excel & Powerpoint);
• Experience in ERP/reporting/accounting systems (knowledge of 1C);
• Experience in international corporation, IT company with a Big 4 background is a plus;
• Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
