An analyst who will actively collaborate with the B2B team, help generate and test hypotheses for business growth, and search for answers in data and use the data to base solutions on. study new methodologies and improve the ones we are already using;
study business processes and give weighting to them using metrics; use the data to find options for their optimization;
manage separate B2B projects: formalize the problems and requirements of business; find points of growth; sort out business processes and data sources; write reports on projects; present research results.
Examples of projects that you will be working on:
evaluation of B2B partner retention using an A/B test after a trigger e-mail is sent;
impact assessment of adding an additional currency that can be used to pay for bookings in a region by the means of Causal Impact;
clustering of partners for the purpose of finding booking promo codes that are relevant to the search results.
at least 1 year of work experience in analytics or experience with data analysis received during other positions;
the desire to grow, learn something new, and take on responsibility;
curiosity and persistence;
an idea of how business works and which metrics are generally used to assess it;
knowledge of SQL;
knowledge of the fundamentals of statistics (median, cumulative distribution functions, p-value, confidence interval);
python (pandas, numpy, statsmodels, seaborn, matplotlib, scikit-learn);
experience with launching and analyzing A/B tests;
English - upper intermediate.
experience writing technical specifications;
an idea of how databases are structured (we work with Vertica);
experience working with BI (business intelligence) tools (we work with Tableau);
good skills in MS Excel.
