Job responsibilities

  • Development of the company’s network infrastructure architecture (both globally and at the office or data center level);

  • Communication with service providers (in both Russian and English) offering hosting, data center connectivity, and Internet access services;

  • Configuration and operation of equipment (we use: Juniper (EX/MX/SRX), Cisco (IOS/ASA), Huawei (CE), Fortinet, Check Point);

  • Configuration and operation of network services on Linux servers (BGP/OSPF, OpenVPN, WireGuard, IPsec);

  • Operation of monitoring and logging services for the network and other services, diagnostics, and prompt troubleshooting of network issues;

  • Maintaining network documentation (Confluence, NetBox, Visio).

Key qualifications

Mandatory Skills

  • Expert-level experience (5+ years) with networking technologies in corporate and data center networks (BGP, OSPF, IPsec, DNS, VRRP, NAT, ACL, SIP/RTP) both on hardware solutions (routers, security gateways) and on software (Linux).

  • Experience in configuring MPLS, OSPF, BDP from scratch;

  • Experience working with enterprise Wi-Fi networks: deployment, diagnostics, and monitoring using Huawei/Juniper/UniFi solutions;

  • Experience in Linux system administration (Ubuntu, Debian), network and service diagnostics skills, access configuration (iptables, nftables), experience with sniffers (tcpdump, Wireshark), and ability to optimize the OS for high network loads;

  • Experience with monitoring systems (Zabbix, Grafana, VictoriaMetrics), and proficiency with SNMP MIBs.

  • English and Russian - speaking level

Preferred Skills

  • Experience operating Huawei CE series network equipment (aggregation and access switches, both campus and data center; Wi-Fi access points and controllers);

  • Experience administering KVM virtual infrastructures;

  • Experience administering cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure);

  • Experience interacting with RIR (NCC RIPE);

  • Ability to automate routine tasks and write application scripts (Python, Ansible);

  • Experience working with the ELK stack for analyzing logs from network equipment.
