Technical Support Specialist - Telephony

Job responsibilities

  • Receive, process, and respond to internal user inquiries regarding the operation of the VoIP system.
  • Investigate non-standard incidents and issues.
  • Analyze and localize technical malfunctions, eliminate them or escalate them to developers.
  • Conduct manual functional testing.
  • Update the knowledge base: write instructions and guides.
  • Analyze requests to identify trends and problems.

Key qualifications

  • Experience working in technical support teams (preferably in a product company).
  • Ability to process information from various sources.
  • Network problem diagnosis skills: understanding of IP network basics: IP addressing, subnet mask, gateway, DNS / working with ping, tracert to check availability and diagnose delays / experience in diagnosing network problems for remote users (VPN, routing, resource availability) / working with monitoring systems (Zabbix, Grafana): viewing dashboards, responding to alerts.
  • Experience with VoIP equipment or softphones (Zoiper, MicroSIP, Bria, etc.).
  • Knowledge of VoIP monitoring systems (e.g., Voipmonitor).
  • Experience with JIRA would be an advantage.
  • English at B1 (intermediate) level.
