Who we need
The Payments team is responsible for developing and supporting the internal payment infrastructure - two backend services in Python and the frontend payment page. We integrate external processing providers and ensure payment acceptance for all of the company's product services. Our goal is to make the architecture flexible and scalable and to quickly implement new payment methods around the world. We solve full-cycle infrastructure and business tasks: from design to launch.Job responsibilities
- Drive key product metrics, including payment success rate, processing costs, and overall financial impact.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, plan the development of payment instruments, and launch new payment methods and integrations.
- Ensure smooth payment operations, respond to incidents promptly, and collaborate with development and analytics teams.
- Foster effective communication with stakeholders, partner teams, and support departments. Enhance process transparency and build the payment team's reputation across the company.
- Take ownership of ad-hoc projects impacting product metrics; proactively identify potential risks, adjust plans, and delegate tasks.
Key qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as a product manager in travel tech, marketplaces, delivery services, taxis, or other transactional platforms/fintech services.
- Strong data-driven mindset: proficiency with SQL for data extraction, hands-on experience with BI tools and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Proven experience in designing and analyzing A/B tests to inform product decisions.
- Deep understanding of unit economics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to and aligning diverse groups, from C-level executives to engineering teams and support.
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher, with strong verbal communication skills.
- Experience in payments, acquiring, or fintech is a strong plus, especially with: complex integrations, international payment methods, and compliance frameworks (e.g., 3DS, PCI DSS).
