Who we need
We are looking for a confident Middle Backend Go Developer to join our Transfers team.
Transfers is an established product (operating for over 5 years) that aggregates transfer services from various suppliers and resells them to customers. We serve both B2C and B2B clients. Record daily sales have reached 2,500 transfer bookings. Our platform was the first to provide suppliers with its own API, and now suppliers come to us for integrations.
Job responsibilities
- Development of microservices in Go;
- Breaking down projects into tasks and estimating their complexity/effort;
- Code refactoring and optimization of the current solutions' performance;
- Participating in code reviews with colleagues;
- Collaborating with QA, product managers, and project managers to coordinate and implement new functionality.
Key qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience as a backend developer;
- Excellent knowledge of Go;
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture;
- Practical experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka;
- Experience in code refactoring and performance optimization;
- Strong skills in task estimation and decomposition;
- Responsibility, self-organization, and the ability to work effectively in a team;
- Spoken English at B1 (Intermediate) level or higher;
- Fluent Russian (written and spoken);
Nice to have:
- Experience with high-load services;
- Knowledge of Python.
