Who we need
We are looking for a confident Middle Backend Developer / Acting Team Lead (Golang & Python) to join our API Team.
Our product is the B2A API, an established solution responsible for integrating all external partners.
Job responsibilities
- Development and support of high-load API services
- Participation in designing the architecture and making technical decisions
- Code review participation
- Full ownership of 1-2 team services from design to production
- Participation in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives
- Communication with stakeholders and related teams
Key qualifications
- 4+ years of commercial backend development experience
- Experience working with high-load systems
- Experience in designing and developing APIs
- Experience in Agile/Scrum teams
- Spoken English – B1 level or higher
- Understanding of design patterns
- Monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Ability to decompose tasks and estimate timelines
- Proactivity in identifying and solving technical issues
- Experience with the following stack:
- Go (Golang), Python – primary programming languages
- REST API, gRPC
- PostgreSQL
- Docker
- Git, CI/CD (GitLab CI)
Would be a plus:
- Experience in mentoring or tech leading small projects
- Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger
- Experience working with SLO/SLI
- Desire to grow into a leadership role (Acting Team Lead → Team Lead)
