Who we need
We are looking for a Prompt Engineer to join our Product HQ and optimize production-grade LLM solutions across the company. This role focuses on systematically designing, testing, and refining prompts for real business impact — improving operational AI use cases, supporting text-to-SQL and automation initiatives, and establishing best practices in experimentation, evaluation, and prompt versioning to ensure measurable, scalable performance gains.Job responsibilities
- Design, refinement, and maintenance of prompts for classification models (e.g., communication tagging, call transcript analysis) to achieve target accuracy metrics.
- Development of prompts for generative applications, including writing assistants, dialogue сценарии for voice bots, and structured data formatting.
- Systematic analysis of model outputs to identify classification errors, edge-case failures, and tone inconsistencies — independently designing and testing solutions.
- Maintaining prompt documentation and version history; ensuring reproducibility of results when models are updated.
- Collaboration with LLM engineers to align prompts with model capabilities, as well as with product and analytics teams to define acceptance criteria and translate business requirements into model logic.
- Participation in the development of evaluation frameworks: defining test cases, creating “golden” datasets, and designing accuracy metrics for prompt-driven features.
Key qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in QA, data analysis, technical writing, or a related role requiring a systematic approach to iterations and documentation.
- Proven hands-on experience in prompt engineering (personal projects, current role, or portfolio) with measurable results.
- Strong analytical thinking: ability to formulate hypotheses about why a model produces response A instead of B, design tests, and iterate based on findings.
- Attention to detail: willingness to review hundreds of model outputs to identify error patterns.
- Clear documentation skills: writing prompts and notes in a way that others can understand and maintain.
- Basic understanding of how LLMs work: familiarity with concepts such as temperature, context window, and instruction-following.
- Experience with classification tasks: tagging, categorization, entity extraction.
- Familiarity with model evaluation and monitoring tools (e.g., Langfuse or similar).
- Experience in customer support, travel, or operational environments.
- Knowledge of voice or conversational AI systems (dialogue design, turn-taking logic).
- Experience working with JSON and basic knowledge of regular expressions (regex).
