B2B Sales Manager (USA)


As a Sales Manager for Emerging Travel Group, your primary focus is to drive revenue performance by implementing effective sales strategies and by building long-term reciprocal relationships with our partners to drive growth in the North American market. You are analytically-minded and enjoy problem solving and collaborating with internal teams to ensure streamlined operations and identify revenue opportunities.

Emerging Travel is an online travel group based in Delaware, USA. The company operates brands RateHawk and ZenHotels in 190+ source markets. Our products help customers select and book all types of accommodation from over 1.8 M options in 220 countries. Emerging Travel Group was founded in 2010, and today employees more than 2,000 people across Europe, Americas, Middle East, the CIS and South Africa in roles ranging from product and business development to specialized multilingual customer support for all our customers.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager in the USA to join our international B2B brand RateHawk, develop our business and make the travel world better together!

Job Responsibilities

  • Actively promote our international B2B product in assigned territory;
  • Develop and implement sales activities, exceed sales targets to achieve growth and expand presence in assigned territory;
  • Look for, sign, and onboard new partners to provide them with extensive knowledge of our booking system;
  • Negotiate and implement API deals with the potential partners;
  • Present in internal/external meetings;
  • Determine where opportunity exists and implement new approaches, develop new tools and process that contribute to greater productivity and efficiency;
  • Build and nurture a strong, long-lasting relationship with new partners; be their primary point of contact to grow our mutual business;
  • Prepare, execute, and manage commercial deals with partners including the execution of required document flow and technical setup;
  • Assist clients until the first purchase is made;
  • Maintain control of compliance and commercial conditions of partners including the payment flow;
  • Provide market & competitive environment analysis;
  • Use out-of-the-box thinking to develop and implement solutions to unique challenges; 
  • Provide comprehensive reporting.

Key Qualifications

  • Relevant experience. 3-7 years experience in the travel industry and excellent knowledge of the country's travel market; specialized in sales management or business development of B2B travel companies;
  • Competence in API technology deals;
  • Personal skills. Proactive, detail oriented, ambitious, motivated, action-oriented, results-focused, appetite for innovative technology, comfortable with fast-changing business environment, teamplayer;
  • Excellent Analytical Skills. Demonstrate that you understand how to optimize strategies and revenue management to drive the right business. Show the ability and confidence to make informed decisions;
  • Relationship Management.You build positive external relationships to achieve desired trust and rapport to gain required results. You can influence decision makers, think critically and embrace being a part of a team to achieve success;
  • Impactful Written & Spoken Communications. You provide clear and concise verbal and written communication to internal and external partners. You convey, receive, and interpret ideas to present appropriate information to a diverse range of audiences;
  • Self- sufficient. You work autonomously on projects and are skilled at working with numbers and crafting a story. You are detail oriented and can think both strategically of the big picture as well as operate in the details;
  • Results focused. You have excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. You use your analytical skills and a driven curiosity to identify travel trends and ensuing business needs. You can develop and present insightful analysis and implement meaningful action plans based on the analysis. You are accustomed to data-driven decision-making, metrics-driven and good with numbers;
  • International mindset. Ability to understand and work across a wide range of cultural contexts reflecting ETG’s global presence;
  • Language proficiency. Native English, written and spoken, other languages as a plus;
  • Travel Requirements. Travel of 20 – 30%  might be required for market visits.
