RateHawk is a travel tech company that operates globally as part of the Emerging Travel Group. Currently, we are expanding into the America travel market.

Our goal as a leader in the travel technology industry is to provide travel professionals with the most convenient travel products through creation, distribution, and management. We are looking for a experienced team leader that will lead and develop our sales team, implement effective sales strategies, build long-term reciprocal relationships with our clients and partners in Canada market, but also take our team and brand to the next level!

Job Responsibilities

  • Actively promote our international project;
  • Expand and consolidate presence in the assigned territory;
  • Lead the team to achieve the division's planned revenue results;
  • Monitor and analyze the team's KPI results;
  • Organize the search and recruitment of new business partners, as well as strengthen the relationship with current partners and conduct negotiations with them;
  • Support the team in managing key accounts;
  • Develop people, from hiring to training, to help the team get to the next level;
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the division's marketing plan;
  • Market research, reporting, analysis and forecasting.

Key Qualifications

  • Relevant experience. Ideally 3 years of leadership experience (Account Executives/Account Managers) with a focus on go-to-market strategies and people development, as well as successful sales experience with a track record. Knowledge of business development for B2B travel tech companies in the country is required, as well as networking with the travel industry, i.e. travel agencies, tour operators, OTAs (Online Travel Agencies), etc.
  • Market knowledge. Professional experience in the travel industry, as well as an understanding of tourism and the main online booking systems;
  • Competence in API integration and technology sales & deals.
  • Personal skills. Proactive, ambitious, motivated, communicative, action-oriented, results-focused, appetite for innovative technology, comfortable with fast-changing business environment, teamplayer, used to data-driven decision-making;
  • Results-oriented. You are data-driven and well-versed in metrics and numbers - KPIs;
  • International mindset. Capable of understanding and working across diverse cultural contexts, reflecting ETG's global presence;
  • Be your own CEO. We are looking for individuals who can work independently and take responsibility for their own tasks;
  • Language proficiency. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of other languages is a plus;
  • Location. Must be a current U.S. resident/citizen.
  • Business trips. Working time allocation of 20-30% may be required for visiting customers or attending events.
