Brand Protection Engineer

Job Responsibilities

fighting phishing, internet fraud targeting customers;
fighting against the illegal use of trademarks, copyright infringement;
studying new internet fraud schemes to identify risks, form recommendations for clients, businesses;
increasing the effectiveness of threat detection and prevention;
achieving blockages, holding accountable;
investigating incidents;
collecting evidence;
collaborating with business units to combat fraud.

Key Qualifications

the ability to work with analytics tools and monitor internet resources (OSINT, TI);
knowledge of how to search for typosquatting, data leaks;
ability to write scripts (Bash, Python) and SQL queries;
knowledge of written and spoken English at least B2 level;
experience working with hosting providers, domain name registrars, and regulators in disputed issues;
ability to communicate with government agencies to block or conduct investigations;
ability to identify channels for distributing fraudulent resources;
experience in developing internal regulatory documents, instructions;
examples of successful cases involving holding fraudsters accountable;
additional education, certificates, courses in the professional field will be a plus.
